The New Classic

This look is my take on a classic jeans and tank look for summer   I adore jeans and tank tops and anyone who is friends with me has seen me wear looks like this since I was a middle school student. Therefore in the spirit of Iggy Azalea's new album, this is my new classic armor for summer. This is kind of my take on how I would dress for any spring or summer outing without taking away the classic look of jeans and a tank yet adding just a little extra to suit it for your own personal style and taste.

Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs | Tank: Target Mossimo | Necklace: Apricot Lane | Jeans: Textile | Cuff: Chicos | Shoes: LC by Lauren Conrad | Purse: Michael Kors Hamilton Bag.

Touch of Gray.

No, not the song by The Grateful Dead... A dress, duh! I am not a huge fan of color so, my closet is all neutrals, black, white, and gray. This dress is perfect for Summer which is exactly why I decided to share it today! It can be worn day or night with heels or with flats. I adore the versatility of it. You can even add a blazer or jacket to it. It is perfect for weekends whether its date night, girls night, a party, work, or even just a summer trip, this is the dress of all dresses. My love for maxi dresses I have already expressed so this dress was something I could not live without hanging in my closet. A GRAY maxi dress!  This dress has such an awesome feel to it, its light weight but at the same time it has enough weight to make it hang flattering the figure. Its structural with a shoulder piece I normally would not like it except it has amazing details from the darts to the drawn in waist to the studding. This dress is a perfect addition to summer, spring, and even fall wardrobe. Tracy Reese's, Plenty collection never fails to make me impress me and make me happy. I decided to pair it with my new favorite summer heels from Target that have been feature before in your epidermis is showing.

Special Thanks: My beautiful sister, Climer Photography for taking these pictures! Never disappoints me! Check out her beautiful photos, DIY's, and blog HERE or on the link to her page on the left. ---->

Casual Monday's

So Monday's aren't always the easiest day of the week. Today I started my summer classes... So with that being said here is my Casual Monday. On Monday's you don't necessarily have the desire to get ready nor put a ton of effort into getting ready. This look is basic and can be dressed up or dressed down to get the desired look. Head to toe:

Basics of Monday. Easy hair and makeup I literally take my hair and put it in a knot on the top of my head with a hair tie and basic eyeliner and mascara.

My top and shorts are from Forever 21 shoes are Mossimo from Target.

This top has sheer shoulder panels that are really quite brilliant for summer and keeping well ventilated for hot days. It also has a lovely racer back detail in the back.

The shorts are a silky pajama style with arrows all over them. I absolutely love the arrow trend that has been out there and these are perfect for hot summer days.

These shorts also have this awesome athletic short paneling detail. I love how they fit they even have an elastic waistband so I can wear it tucked in or belted. or high waisted or low rise.

Hope you all have enjoyed Casual Monday as much as I have! Check back on Friday for my weekend post! Special thanks once again to my amazing sister at Climer Photography for taking my pictures and helping with my blog :)

your epidermis is showing

So this is a little much for the day and a little sexy. I had to love show it! Leather into summer trend started happening last summer and I love it. It is the perfect amount of edge to be added to your wardrobe. My awesome sister was nice enough to lend me her leather shorts for this shoot because the jeans I ordered that were leather were about three sizes too small!! Anyways this is my take on summer leather and what I think would be a great look for date night!

My blazer is Forever 21 keeping in the white out trends! I love blazers and this one is just the bee's knees. It has a silky lining and cute vertical stripes on the cuffs of the sleeves.

This is the crop top from my destroyed look part two. Its Forever 21 I love, if you don't have one, get one because they seriously go with so much.

My sisters awesome leather shorts are from Forever 21. Its so nice to have a sister to share a closet with and that we are close enough in size to swap! It completely extends your wardrobe!

My absolutely favorite thing to add to black and white is red nail polish. Red is such a strong color. I love this, it is Color Show!

My shoes are really awesome. I have already worn them several times with so many looks! I can't wait to feature them on the blog more!

The shoes are from Target and they also come in a brown and tan color.

Special thanks again to my amazing sister at Climer Photography! Check out her awesome blogs and beautiful photos. I could not function without my sisters help, I love her. Check back on Monday for a new post!

Destroyed: Part three of three

So for my last look in this series I took a girly turn! I love white and and I always adore a touch of flower child. So for my last post in the destroyed shorts series I mixed one of my favorite sheer white tanks with the rad shorts.

If I would have had the time to do my hair I normally would have gone with a wavy more relaxed style and not quite so straight!

The top is from Urban Outfitter's. It is incredibly sheer and light weight, perfect for a hot summer day! It has a nice clasp to keep the front area concealed or to reveal a bright tank or bandeau. I prefer wearing it with white tank and clasped shut.

In this picture you can see that the shirt has detailing. It has stitching that is in a floral and paisley pattern.

The top is actually very flowy, but I love tucking it in for this look. It gives just a hint of flirty to the already cute appeal with the ruffles on the neckline.

I love backs on shirts from racer to open, strappy, and completely backless tops. The racer back is just too cute not to show!

These wedges are a little old but they are from Target, I love how the flower details are also picked up again!

The height on these wedges are perfect for really petite females they are around five inches and if a female is tall like I am they only add more height and length to the body!

I feel like this look can go day to night. During the day it can be warn with a tank underneath it and flat sandals. I think it can go great for date night as well with a cream bandeau top or white and the wedges! I hope you guys have enjoyed my destroyed series posts!

Special thanks once again to my amazing sister who I would be so lost in the blog world without for taking and always helping me set up my posts! Check her out HERE to see her gorgeous engagement and wedding photos and her awesome DIY's!

Catch me on Monday for my next post!

Destroyed: Part Two of Three

So from all of my posts I am almost certain that everyone knows my love and adoration for stripes. So naturally when I made my weekly trip to Forever 21 I found the perfect striped crop top and on top of that it was only $7!!! So I of course had to have it because it was striped and so affordable! Like many college students I enjoy a good bargain! So here is my very Full House styled outfit that I cannot wait to wear all summer!

I love the short-sleeves especially if it is a cooler summer day!

The shirt is a medium so be careful with sizing since it is a crop you may need to go up a size!

The shirt also comes in a shade of red, I almost purchased it but i is not my favorite red!

Since I didn't buy the red I decided that red nails were a good option! The red I am using is Maybelline Color Show, "Keep Up The Flame" #250

I adore that the shorts button down instead of zipping. It just gives it an even more old school feel!

I also paired them with my red van knock offs from Target a taste of punk and Full House.

Special Thanks once again to my extraordinary sister @ Climer Photography! Check back on Friday for my third installment in the Destroyed Series of Posts!
