Sail into Spring

It is finally nice and almost 80 degrees today!
Which means two things: my convertible top will be down
and Taylor Swift will be blasting at some point.
So my outfit for today's post is Taylor Swift inspired!
Hope you enjoy!

Started off with my hair down but it was soon too hot!

I adore high waisted shorts. They are my amazeballs in Spring. These are Forever 21!

Peter Pan collars are so refreshing, I think that they are very Taylor Swift and classic.

My sunglasses are from Target, they are super easy!

And as always red lip stick by Kate Moss.

The belt is also from F21. Braided belts are super easy and awesome for knotting.

I cannot stop making silly faces, particularly kissy faces lately. I'm weird. My nail-polish is Essie- Sandy Tropez and goes with everything.

I love saddle shoes and these are from Urban Outfitters and are shades of blue. Super comfy.

 Kisses!
Be ware posts are going to be few and far between during finals week!
Happy finals month to all and may the odds be ever in your favor! ;)

Special thanks once again to my amazing sister, Climer Photography. I hope you all look at her beautiful photographs and blogs!

pretty in polka dots

It is finally getting to be warm outside and I absolutely love it! Polka-dots are so cute and classic. I love feminine and hard mixed together and I think that these two tops one being a sweater and one being a t shirt are a wonderful way to mix feminine and hard while looking classic and a light sweater is perfect for these spring days that aren't quite ready to be sleeveless or jacket-less. Anyways, back to my look from toes to head.

Starting with my shoes. I adore wearing loafers, they are so comfortable. These are black and velvet from Urban Outfitters super comfortable and easy to wear.

The shorts are my favorite for spring/summer they are from the gap and fit really well, rarely ever are they loose or sagging by the end of the day and truly maintain their shape.

The sweater is Forever 21 and is really light weight which is awesome for spring even though it runs rather short.

The collared shirt is also Forever 21 and is white with awesome cap sleeves.

The collar is also studded and buttons at the nape of the neck.

There is also an adorable keyhole where it buttons!

My favorite cat eye black glasses are also Forever 21.
Sorry about the delays in posts, it is almost finals week. Hopefully during the summer I will be able to post more! :)

Special Thanks to Climer Photography my lovely, hilarious, beautiful, amazeballs sister who is the genius behind the camera and also the reflection in my glasses, she has an incredible business and wicked awesome blogs!

Re-eeh-eeh-eeh-eheh-edddd {red}

Is it Spring yet? It has been feeling a bit of spring and fall in the Midwest, therefore my wardrobe has been a direct reflection. I love stripes horizontal, vertical, diagonal, I love them all. Except Pinstripes, I'm not a pimp. And quite like any 90's baby, I love me some denim jackets- sometimes they just make your look ten times better. I like messy hair, partially because its easy and I have a tendency of sleeping in and partially is because its fun. What is the best accessory when you don't want to over accessorize? RED LIPSTICK.

My dress actually has sleeves on it that are three quarter length which is awesome for my monkey arms and it is the perfect length for me. (I'm 5'9"ish, makes it hard to buy short dresses.)

Dress: Urban Outfitters, BDG and also has three buttons down the left side. It is like wearing pj's super comfortable.

Embrace the humidity and messy. Messy hair, smudged eyeliner, and even smudged lips.

I am always wearing this necklace. Karma is such a funny thing.

This red lipstick is my favorite, it is Kate Moss from Target and is Red 01. It doesn't taste icky like most lipsticks when you accidentally lick or bite your lips and it lasts almost a full work day.

I honestly just like this picture of me because I feel like a superhero.

I love my denim. This specific jacket is Abercrombie vintage and its slightly distressed which is why I love it so much.

I am all about comfort and saving money, these knock off ked's/van's are from target and are only $13. They are easily my favorite shoes. Making the perfect statement without being too much or over the top.

Sorry for the delay in posts, its almost finals week! Eeeek!
Special thanks to Climer Photography my gorgeous and talented sister!

Mid-Week Moody.

This Midwest weather is sooo confusing. This week it has been cold, rainy, and now 74 degrees. I am going back to basics. SO I will continue to drink my Starbucks and get into a caffeine happy place. Everyone needs a good basic look they can throw on and feel comfortable and confident that they still look great.

Basic black t-shirts are my favorite

This shirt is from Urban Outfitters, Day Dreamer and
can be worn slightly off the shoulder.

Sunglasses were a $5 find from Forever 21.
 Bracelet once again Flower Merchant.

My beloved leopard print flats are from Target and the backs have gold studs that I love, adding the perfect flare to a classic flat.

Coral Mossimo purse from Target.
It can be carried wrist style or with shoulder strap
to make it cross-body or shoulder length.

I adore skinny jeans. This particular pair from Big Star I decided to roll.

Check back for more of my looks Friday :)

2013 MTV Movie Awards: Red Carpet Battle

The MTV Movie Awards, you never know what types of fashion that will be seen on red carpet or during the show. From the fierce and fabulous to the tragic and tired, this award show gave a taste of great and terrible looks. However, among those looks were a few diamonds and the men of the evening were dapper as can be street style and classic red carpet.Starting with the worst of the ladies of the night.

Ke$ha, I understand that it was Coachella the weekend before, but your look is a bit confusing and sad, you look like a goth hippie which just doesn't work. This look is so tragic and looks very Christina Aguilera circa 2000's (dirty cd)

Paramore, I hate to do this to you, but two out of three of you look ridiculous and not in a good way. I am glad to see people having fun with fashion however I wish the beautiful and talented Haley Williams would wear something unexpected and feminine for one show(not that I don't love her talented voice) Better luck next award show fashion wise. Check out their new CD though, it is awesome.

Macklemore, I don't understand why you would cover a tailored suit with a ridiculous matador jacket, instead of having a gold star and causing me to be in matador adore you have made me feel like Mackle-NO-More should be your name.

Brittany Snow, you are my saddest fashion flop. Your hair and makeup are impeccable and you look beautiful, but your dress looks like you ripped the wings off of two loving owls and super-glued them to your dress. This look is just aca-ackward. Love you though.

Moving On to the ALMOST great looks...

Chloe Grace Moretz, ahh I want to love her look, but it is just far too casual for an award show, even if it is just MTV. I love this dress though, paired with some leather cut-out booties I would be in hipster heaven

Bella Thorne, I love this suit look only concern is that it ages her. She is so young and fresh, she should be having fun with fashion, not trying to look 30.

Holland Roden, I love how classic this dress is, however I wish that the neckline was not so plunging and that the length was a little bit shorter since she is so petite

Selena Gomez, I want to love it, but watching it on television was not as great as it was in pictures. I think she looks flawless other than her hair which is the only reason I put her in the ALMOST category. That hair looks like a horse's mane at competition or a unicorn. Not that I don't love both of those animals, but I would have rather saw this look with a sleek and simple ponytail.

TOP FIVE FEMALE LOOKS

Quvenzhane Wallis, love her. Tiniest fashionista, yes, very matchy matchy, but who cares the girl is like eight years old and rockin' a sick animal purse.

Jordana Brewster, super awesome classic white dress. Love it but it just was not a WOW moment.

Zoe Saldana, this skirt is epic. I love everything about it from the sheer panel, the floral the slit, it is straight up sexy with the black long sleeves, even if it is a bit fall.

Emma Watson, love how fresh and clean and youthful she looks beautiful even though I hate the shoes though. Adore this.

Karlie Kloss, best dressed female of the night! She was a carpet correspondent and looked amazeballs. Love the white crop top with the white slit skirt and white heels. All white ahh love.

On to my best dressed men of the night!

Eddie Redmayne love how casual and cool he looks. It is an updated James Dean flare that I am in love with. He can sing and can dress and he's British, what more can a girl ask for?

Liam Hemsworth, ahhhh, sigh, swoon, bearded and causal button down with an awesome vest. I am simply in love with the Aussie and his looks. Bravo Miley, you have won the grand supreme in dating.

Avan Jogia, I love this look. I can't get over it and I'm not even sure why. It may be the long hair helping in his favor.

Skylar Astin, he can sing, he can dance, he can make me laugh, and now he can pull off a simple suit and plain white button down, excuse me while I fall in aca-amazing love.

Tom Hiddleston, my best dressed male of the evening. That suit was wow. Tailored to perfection. This British babe may play a villain but he is a hero of the fashionable. Love this so much.

That's all for the MTV Movie Awards 2013!
Check back tomorrow!
